Data Processing, Management and Delivery

Data acquired by PVA, or sourced from other service providers, is processed and analysed according to industry protocols.

PVA delivers spatial data on a single software platform ('ViewPoint') which is included as part of the service. This allows clients to access, view and analyse data on their computer.

PVA through the use of AGIS, Viewpoint and DLog have developed a processing centre to facilitate the day to day management of Precision Viticulture data and ease of transfer to and from the vineyard. Data acquired by PVA or sourced from other service providers can be processed, analysed and presented in Viewpoint enabling a complete understanding of the information and maximising its application.

Data Analysis

• Identification of relationships between layers of spatial information.
• Identification of vineyard management zones.
• Identification of watershed boundaries, water flow, and drainage lines.

Ground Truthing

PVA provides support with ground truthing the spatial data through the use of hand-held computers, GPS and 'DLog' software.
